Busy as a bee doesn’t even begin to describe these next few weeks for the 13 Bricks family.
Remember in our last two posts we said we had many projects and events in the works?
Well the time to unveil is now Savannah. 13 Bricks is proud to announce that we will be moving from our shared location in Southern Pine Co. to a cozy abode off of East Broad where we will continue to create fine art products of only the highest caliber on environmentally responsible materials.
In other news, 13 Bricks will join the Savannah community this Saturday-May 10th- in the March Against Monsanto. Starting at 11:30 am, the Savannah community will conglomerate at Johnson Square to enjoy live music by Xulu Prophet, Omingnome and Whiskey Wednesday as well as engage a number of respectable local figures on the impact of GMOs and ways to thwart their spread. If you’ve been living in your hermit hole and avoiding the interweb you might have missed that our friend Miggs Son has recently released the video for his single “Knowhateyemean?” from his freshly pressed album Son of a Gun. Directed, edited and shot by Adam Bailey, Miggs’ video is just a sample of the exceptional music this Savannahian consistently creates.
So Savannah, clear your plans for next week and come join us celebrate Miggs’ album release presented by Dope Sandwich and hosted at Southern Pine Co. The event is free and will feature an art installation by Jagrut Raval as well as some of our fine merchandise to be vended alongside. Follow the link for more event info.
